GERALDINE O'KEEFFE
Long Island author and mother GERALDINE O'KEEFFE
will be speaking about and signing her new book, The
Stork's Revenge: My Struggles and Triumphs Over Postpartum
Depression.
After the birth of her daughter,
postpartum depression hit Geraldine O'Keeffe hard. She loved
her baby, but the horrible pain, depression, and OCD she
suffered prevented her from enjoying her new daughter.
O'Keeffe has since triumphed over postpartum depression and
has now collected her experiences in her new book, The Stork's
Revenge, with the hope of educating other mothers, the medical
community, and society at large about this mental illness.
