Long Island author JEB LADOUCEUR will speak about and sign his new book, The Banana Belt.

Idaho's “Banana Belt” is a crescent of relatively flat, arable land spanning the lower one-third of that otherwise harsh and mountainous state. There, convicted killer Lonnie Pitts awaits execution while three parallel stories unfold around him…and around Millie, the engaging ghost of the wife he has murdered.

In a strong cameo role, Idaho's most renowned deceased resident, brash and blustering Ernest Hemingway, meets his otherworldly match in lovable, saucy “Millie the Ghost,” as the book's diverse characters converge inexorably, all unaware of their impending fate…in The Banana Belt.
